Emily is Paul Woodrugh's girlfriend and later fiancée. Eventually, she gets pregnant. Being a non-believer in abortion, she puts forward the idea of keeping the baby, which Paul agrees to, and they agree to get married. Months after Paul is killed she is seen attending the opening of "Paul Woodrugh Memorial Highway" while holding her and Paul's baby.
