Beatrice "Bee" Malee is a crab processer.

When the women of the town, Bee among them, learned that the Tsalal scientists had killed Annie, they gathered together and went out to the station, where they gathered the men, drove them out into the wilderness, forced them to strip, and then sent them out into the snow for Annie to take them or not.[1]
Bee was at work at the crab plant when Ace attacked Blair Hartman, his ex. In retaliation, Bee hit Ace with a bucket and knocked him out. When Evangeline Navarro arrived, Bee didn't deny hitting him with the bucket and emphasized that Ace had abused Blair. When Ace woke up, Blair said she'd press charges and Navarro arrested him.[2]
Later, Danvers interviewed Bee after learning she cleaned Tsalal Station. She said she'd never seen Annie Kowtok at the station, but questioned why she'd be there at all. She also didn't recognize the spiral symbol that was found on Lund's forehead and said the scientists never spoke to the cleaning staff.[3]
When Danvers and Navarro pieced together part of what had happened to the scientists, Bee told them what had happened, but only in the form of a story, without admitting fault. Danvers and Navarro accepted that and said that forensics showed that a slab avalanche had killed the scientists, meaning the case was officially closed.[1]
