Alma checked in Julia Navarro when she came to stay at The Lighthouse. After they finished the paperwork, she left Julia to her room.[1]
When Davners came to question Otis Heiss, Alma told her to limit her visit to ten minutes, as Heiss was still in withdrawal.[2]
When the women of the town, Alma among them, learned that the Tsalal scientists had killed Annie, they gathered together and went out to the station, where they gathered the men, drove them out into the wilderness, forced them to strip, and then sent them out into the snow for Annie to take them or not. When Danvers and Navarro pieced together part of what had happened, Bee told them what had happened, but only in the form of a story, without admitting fault. Danvers and Navarro accepted that and said that forensics showed that a slab avalanche had killed the scientists, meaning the case was officially closed.[3]
